Attire : NPCC Full Uniform

We went to the Hong Kong Police Headquarters :)

It was our first time wearing full uniform with stockings but it did not make any difference. We had to fall in so the boys filled up the first 2 ranks and the girls hid behind them.

We also toured around the headquarters but I am not very sure of what those places are called.

A female police officer, CI Kevin and CI Terence gave a speech in the Media Briefing Room.

The temporary cell room where offenders could be detained.

Custody suite? If you hide in any part of the room, they will still be able to find you by using this.

Whenever I watch the show, I always think "how did they managed to get so many suspects?"

Some of you might know but for those who still have no idea, they just pull some actors, prisoners, police officers or just anyone to fill up the rows and reserve one space for the real suspect.

We had lunch at somewhere near the Police Headquarters. Look at the huge bowl of rice! Nishanth can finish everything and look the the boys' looks. All of us were starving.

After lunch, we had 20 minutes of shopping. Instead of some proper shopping, Eileen, CI Jolene and I spent 15 minutes gossiping. We bought the Hong Kong bubble tea :)

We boarded the coach and set off to another destination - Junior Police Call Clubhouse Tai Po District :)

This is the clubhouse with 100 years of history. NPCC should also have clubhouses for the cadets as well so we can have a stronger bond with one another :)

This pond has no fishes, only water lilies and we still stared at it for 10 minutes until an officer came over, "what is so interesting about this pond?" and we turned, looked at one another and laughed!

They also have a temporary cell in the clubhouse.

Bade goodbye and left for out dinner. It was a very long ride back to the city.

We changed into our normal attire after dinner before boarding the open top bus where it will bring us to Ladies Street. We toured around their city, streets and highways :) The wind, very shiok! When entering the tunnel, we cannot even scream.

Gideon and Yang Zhi tried zipping up their jacket all the way and only Yang Zhi succeeded. Gideon's head is too big and he claimed that big head = big brain = smart.

Ladies Street is like any other Singapore night market but it is cleaner and more crowded.

We need to go in our groups again, our movement is kind of restricted. That was my first time bargaining with some aunties. HKD150 bracelet,I got it for HKD50. Actually there are nothing much at Ladies Street. I wanted factory outlet but they cancelled the trip to there.

When we reached the hotel, it was already 11PM. I bought some bracelets and a watch.

Me : Okay just put it on top of the pink cloth, there's book underneath.

Me : Because if they do spot check later, they will think my Macbook is there so no suspicions right?

Wen : Me and my sister hiding from my parents because we want to go online but they will do spot check so we now helping each other.

Me : (Was thinking, woah this is the first time we're so united)

Me : Eh, go check if they are asleep.

Severe headache associated with a stiff neck, a pain in eye and ear, for the whole day.
My maid made some congee for me and the fish, tofu I like so still not that bad.
Dad left for Korea, business trip again. I need money now but I don't want to take it from mum. Replacement of student concession card, postponed. Did I even call SBS to cancel my card?
Mum activated my POSB card and I stayed at home for some colouring :)

Shall complete it later :)

No more BBQ gathering tomorrow,fuck. But anyway, Vladimir and me came up with a Salvaged Plan For Saturday, which is like a gathering but just that we're going cycling. I'm grounded, but I insist on going cycling tomorrow.

2 more weeks to school and I don't know if that's a good thing or bad thing. I'm okay with teachers, classmates, schoolmates, seniors & juniors but I just hate stepping into the school compound. To me, it's not even a school. Oh and Mr.Boo left and Mr.Shaw is taking over the position of Beatty Secondary School Principal - just really miss Mr.Boo.

The indoor sports hall is not even like one. The colour of the multi-purpose indoor sports hall really cannot make it. The colour makes the whole hall looks like some kind of ... (couldn't think of any words to describe) CRAP.

So much for the interactive learning environment, woah? I think the only good place to chill out is the indoor basketball court but definitely not an ideal place to study. Not anywhere in the school.

I really love sitting @ the foyer :)
Because the direction of wind is always coming towards the foyer. But it's always either full of bags or full of people.

The school cafe, what's the name? The hive? They always say it's a good place to study. With all the students queuing up and making noises? Or the blenders?

The library looks nice from the outside but it's almost like an empty shell.

Everyone knows that canteen is a cross out X.

Our classroom is always dirty. Seriously, why bother picking up the broom when the next day, your classmates WILL dirty the class again? What's the point of a duty roster? Can we just please please please, work together?

The main thing is, can you guys study in a noisy environment? With your classmates shouting and screaming in the classroom, treating as if the teacher is invisible and not showing any respect? I know some of my classmates read my blog, I have to put this clear that I have nothing against anyone of you. But spare a thought for others, they WANT to study.

We have secondary 4 and secondary 5 to go.

I hate studying in my school.

But for one thing about my school, I really love our uniform :)

Awesome day @ Marina Barrage with Lauren, Daryl & Rohan :)

More pictures with Daryl but I guess he's busy packing his stuffs for his NCC camp tomorrow or maybe settling some administrative work.

Grabbed some snacks in Fairprice and took a train down to Marina Bay. We got some chips and Nutella because the boys said something about dipping the chips in which later, tastes really yummy! Whose brilliant idea was that anyway?

Almost alighted at Dhoby Ghaut because Lauren thought we're heading to Vivocity. We walked to the bus stop in the mistlike rain and Daryl shouted some commands under some tunnel and that reminds me of, how long since I last executed a command. I need to stop skipping unit trainings.

Saw many Beattyians today! In Toa Payoh Central and a group of juniors in Marina Barrage :) Took a shuttle bus to Marina Barrage :) There's a corporate event going on at the rooftop so we settled down at the 2nd storey and played poker cards. I'm inexperience with dealing cards so they taught me and Lauren how to play 'taiti' and some other card games like texas?

We "gambled" with candy! Daryl's by the way :)

And we dipped chips in Nutella and it's really yummy! :)

Moved everything to the rooftop after the corporate event ended. Daryl was quite reluctant at first because he's afraid of centipedes - bad experience before. Rohan's expression was !woah when he saw the rooftop filled with grass.

13th birthday @ China Club, 15th birthday @ Tower Club, I'm thinking of going to Si Chuan Dou Hua Restaurant, top of UOB tower for my 16th birthday. I really love dining at restaurants/clubs located at the top of a building, with panoramic view of the city :)

Tower Club is located at the penthouse of Republic Plaza, 62nd - 64th storey and the designs are really magnificent, with good services and a pretty captain. Dad booked a room and we brought Kayin along :) They do not allow children and maids to be in the club but we managed to get Kayin in.

It was my first time celebrating my birthday with my friends :) My birthday falls on the month of holiday so I don't usually meet up with my friends or classmates for celebration. Either to cousin's house for a small party or dine out with family.

Last Saturday, I was late and I still feel bad because they waited for me for an hour. I should feel bad. *guilty look* Ehub, Pastamania - Terence's presence shocked me. Thank god for the good weather and we went to Pasir Ris Beach and walked quite a distance to the bike rental shop :) Jia Min and Zheng Qian left because they told me they've 'something on'

I don't know anything about the surprise at first, even when Aaron blurted out 'birthday cake' but Terence revealed more about the surprise as we were walking to our destination. Jia Min and Zheng Qian came with the birthday cake :)

We rented a bike each, $5 for 2 hours. Compared to East Coast Park bike rental shops, this is considered cheap. Compared to East Coast Park, Pasir Ris Beach is quite boring. Apparently. Still not very good at handling the bike, Terence and Zheng Qian coached Rebecca along the way.

We thought of cycling to Changi Beach but we decided to turn back at the Shell Station because of time constraint.

We cycled past the green field and stopped at the traffic light junction. Many people were there flying kites :) While waiting for the rest to reach, we took some pictures of the beautiful place.

After we returned our bikes, we had to pay $2 each because we were late. There's actually no difference between the bike shops at Pasir Ris Beach and East Coast Beach.
Pasir Ris Beach - $5 for 2 hours/ late, pay extra $2 which sum up to $7
East Coast Beach - $7 for 2 hours/ late, need not pay extra $$$

Walked all the way out under the moonlight. Took a bus to the bus interchange and home sweet home! Eunice stayed in Pasir Ris, Terence took bus home, others took train home and I took Bus 88 back to Toa Payoh with Vladimir. Had dinner @ Mcdonalds, shaker fries!

NPCC Overseas Educational Visit To Hong Kong & Macau Reflection

1330 hours , 17 November 2009, Changi Airport Terminal 3. That's where 30 cadets, 4 Cadet Inspectors and 6 officers were waiting to board the plane SQ 866 to start off our Overseas Educational Trip (OEV) journey to Hong Kong. It was a new and exciting experience and I was looking forward to learning more about our Hong Kong counterparts the Junior Police Call. It was hard to acclimatize to the cold weather there for the first few days but gradually, we got used to it and even started to hope that we can experience such cooling weather in Singapore!

Visiting the Hong Kong Police Headquarters, Police College (Aberdeen), Police Tactical Unit, Police Dog Unit and Marine Police Headquarter was an eye-opener for me!
After going to all different departments, I have realised that the Singapore Police Force and the Hong Kong Police Force are similar in some ways such as their sophisticated firearms and professional trainings. The cadets and officers enjoyed a 20 minutes boat ride in the marine police boat to a small beautiful island known as Cheung Chau located 10km southwest of Hong Kong.

This trip would not have been as enjoyable without new friendships. Our friendships with the JPC was also strengthen through the BBQ night held on the second day in one of their clubhouse. The Hong Kong Junior Police Call (JPC) is a youth organization uniformed group like us. We played different games and danced together and even exchanged songs as well as learning more about them.

One of the historical site that leaves a deep impression was the Old Central Police Station located at the end of Hollywood Road, in Central, Hong Kong. An area with historical significance. The reason why the place left us with such a great impression was that we had went into the indoor execution ground and the room where they will wash the corpse. The stale air over there added to the creepy atmosphere.

We enjoyed ourselves at some tourist attractions like the Victoria Peak, Avenue Of Stars and Hong Kong Disneyland!
At the Victoria Peak, we went to the Hong Kong Madame Tussauds Wax Museum with all the wax sculptures of entertainment, sports and public figures and took the peak tram which offers good views over the harbour and skyscrapers of Hong Kong. Everyone was shivering because the temperature was near 12 degrees that night.
Avenue Of Stars is an interesting place because set into the promenade are plaques containing hand prints and autographs of the celebrities like Bruce Lee, Jackie Chan, Anita Mui, Roy Chiao and many more.
In Hong Kong Disneyland, we had this Youth Animation Program for 2 hours where we learned more about animations and we also did some animation works there. Besides that, we had took different kinds of breathtaking rides and bought many things from the Main Street U.S.A where all the shops are located at. But the main highlight of the day was the fireworks at night!

On the 6th day of our trip, we took a 1 hour ferry ride from the Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal to Macau. Of course, we were not there for casinos! The tour guide brought us to the Macau Maritime Museum, the famous A-Ma temple, The Museum Of Macau and not forgetting one of Macau's most famous landmarks, the Ruins Of St.Pauls. Down the stairs and out to the streets, you can find many shops selling Macau Delicacies and goodies. They offered samples for all kinds of snacks and sweets and that was where we bought our sumptuous delicacies! When we had our interaction time with the Flying Eagles Association at their training centre, we learned some new games and also did our first physical training in our full uniform.

Through this meaningful trip, I made many new friends from the Hong Kong Junior Police Call and also friends from 24 different secondary schools in Singapore. Priviledged and honoured i am to be one of the 30 cadets to go for this trip. I would like to express my gratitude to the Officers and Cadet Inspectors for taking care of us for the 7 days and also, the 29 wonderful friends that accompanied me throughout this trip for making this trip such a memorable one for me.

The NPCC Overseas Educational Trip to Hong Kong and Macau would be a pleasant memory to be added in my cadet life.

Wedding dinner @ Hilton Hotel last night and I love to attend wedding dinners :)

It's nice to sit with the older generations, they talked about their past, life in Indonesia, indonesian cuisine and I really love eating their food, unlike my sisters. Though they spoke in dialect, but I could understand what they were talking about. I replied in mandarin, haha. They also talked about this indonesian boy and mini matchmaking session. And they started comparing the zodiacs and etc. Mum, I'm only 15.

Before that, went to Vivocity, harbourfront to check out the rooms for cruise, Superstar Virgo but the only available dates are 18th, 19th and 20th December but there's BBQ gathering so didn't book it. Maybe next year but that's tentative. I'm going to check out for 1st January 2010 - 3rd January 2010 :)

NPCC Overseas Educational Visit To Hong Kong & Macau - Day 7

I prefer the hotel in Macau to the hotel in Hong Kong. The hotel in Macau is Metropark hotel and their design really chio and the rooms are bigger seh :) Triangular, and you can see every level corridor, gives you the really nice feeling :)

There's a piano in the middle, maybe for display? Oh, classical and soothing music played along the hotel corridors :) Classical, my favorite.

We had our breakfast in the hotel restaurant, buffet :) I ate a lot because really tempting :) But the cornflakes not very nice, it turned soggy after 30 seconds. The chocolate one is delicious though. Really love the chocolate muffin, noodles, bun and the small tomatoes :)

Macau is very small so if we travel from one place to another place, it takes less than 20 minutes bus ride :( And I love long bus rides, not short. The coach we took to get to the Macau Ferry Terminal, the seats are new and comfortable but it's a less than 10 minutes bus ride.

After breakfast, we took our luggage, checked out, Macau Ferry Terminal to take the ferry back to Hong Kong International Airport for our flight :) They have a ferry terminal in the airport. So we took a coach to the airport from the seaport. I forgot to put my hair moisturizer in my luggage and it's 100 ml so the immigration officer threw it away -.-

The tour agency gave us HKD50 each for lunch. Ate at Ajisen Ramen :)

Assembled at gate 29 around 3.25pm. Almost late :/ Board the plane, found our seats and settled down. We took the new SQ A380. The economy class seats are very comfortable and everything is good. Just that their food not very nice, compared to the flight we took on the first day to Hong Kong. Haagen Daz for dessert (Y)

Winked at Rebecca and we had some short chat outside the toilet in the plane. Then I asked Zheng Qian if he has any more ice cream and there's this young and cute air steward came and told me there's still many ice-cream and he'll get me one. So I thought he's giving me one, but he came with a plastic bag, containing 8 Haagen Daz ice cream :)

CI Jolene on my left, Shang Yuan on my right so I keep prasing myself in front of Shang Yuan. He always give me the omg look. So my nickname now is ugly and his nickname now is stupid :)

Air turbulence, seatbelt on, airsickness. Shang Yuan opened the paper bag for me and CI Jolene helped to pat my back. Reached Singapore around 8pm.

Morning call like, 5.45am? I'm not sure about the time but it's very early and I was reluctant to pick up the phone at first. So I showered while Eileen was still sleeping. Woke her up around 6.15am then checked if everything's in place. Reporting time, 7.15am? Because I remembered rushing Eileen at 7.05am. Returned the keys but I couldn't find my key so only returned Eileen's. Left the hotel > breakfast, dim sum again and that's the last time eating at Hong Kong with everyone there.

Hong Kong Macau Ferry Terminal at Sheung Wan, took a ferry to Macau :) The smiley face is not supposed to be there because I hate Macau, their casinos. Jerry sir helped us settle the passport check in stuffs and tickets. We slacked around in a group so Teck Liang sir came over and allow us to choose the handphone strap, on one condition, we must be able to sing the NPCC March song. Many last minute then learn but they managed to get it :)

I got myself a pink/purple one! Happy happy happy :)

1 hour ferry ride to Macau. Shared earpiece with Darrell and his music quite nice :) Slept for 30 minutes, though felt a bit nauseous, seasickness.

Passed immigration and placed our luggage in the coach. The temperature in Macau was not too bad, I think it's 20 degrees? But I don't feel cold in the morning, it's quite warm. Macau also beautiful seh. Their buildings :) They also had the car racing competition like the F1 but they call it F3 there.

Our tour guide brought us to a hotel for international buffet :) I love the sushis and the green noodles :)

Ruins Of St.Paul's 大三巴牌坊. Till now, I still don't get why it's famous. I always thought it's something special, but it's just a wall. I like the architecture of the building though :)

Free and Easy time for us and we bought some Macau delicacies. I bought the 10 Portuguese Egg Tarts, Wife's biscuits 老婆餅, Husband's biscuits 老公饼 and some almond cookies thing. Bought 10 Portuguese egg tarts so we can eat 4 at night and bring 6 back to Singapore.

This Goddess Of Mercy statue is special. According to the tour guide, usually holy statues face the sea but this statue faces the city. The tour guide also said something about mixture of this and that.

Here comes the naggy part with only few pictures. We visited the Flying Eagles Association Training Centre. We were told to do some exercise. So first, warm up. I was standing behind Gideon and he's so funny. Especially the knee part, haha okay.

The 1st game, we need to run in circles but when the officer shouts 2, we must get another partner and stick together. If 3, then 3 people. If 5, then 5 people. Those left out ones must do forfeit like half squat or pumping.

The 2nd game, we need to hold hands, lift it up and run zig-zag, starting from the last person and the group reach the other side of the parade square, will be the winner.

The 3rd game, we need to stretch our arms out and hold on to the person opposite you, the hand. Make a "knot" and tie to form a circle, something like untying a knot but just that we are humans :)

Splitted into 2 groups again. CI Kevin's group and our group, CI Terence's group and CI Jolene's group. Our group played a teambuilding game indoor. I think the other groups played paintballs or water bombs? Our game is something like bomb disposal? I have no idea. We were given 2 wood planks and the bomb is almost impossible to reach. The rule is that we can only use the 2 wood planks and anything from our body to retrieve the bomb. But we must also watch out for safety. But we wore uniform on that day. Officers gave permission to use our uniform parts (except beret) so we used our belts. Everyone took off their belts, connect to another belt and so on, then Fathin as the lightest, tried to get it. Nishanth sat on the plank and many boys just lie on him, and they had a sort of spanking party (hahaha according to Darrell) Though both teams failed in the end, it's still fun :)

They taught us some kind of dance. Physical Training, mad. We didn't even sweat. I felt colder after the exercise. Quickly ran back to the coach after everything ends.

Had our dinner at Macau Fisherman's Wharf, it is like a theme park and it's opposite Sands Casino. They also have a man-made volcano and there's other entertainments inside the volcano. Buffet for dinner. More varieties compared to lunch :)

Saw a pair of pretty shoe near the restaurant but the price, not worth buying already.

After dinner,we visited the Flying Eagle Association Clubhouse for interaction time. Games session again. I joined CI Terence's group because someone from their group went to the toilet and they didn't have enough people.

The 1st game is to hold on to a ball and go through the hoola hoop without the hoop touching any parts of your body except your hand.

The 2nd game, they gave us something like a "paper pole" and we must form a circle, put it in the center of the circle, shout someone's name (from your group only), run back to your spot. So the person whom you had called, must quickly run out and hold on to the "paper pole" and not let it fall. Another cycle again.

The 3rd game is sort of funny because the emcee gave the ping pong ball a name - piggy. They gave us a A4 paper each but rolled up already and we need to let the piggy flow down the "pipe" (the rolled up paper).

The 4th game is weird. They gave us a piece of folded newspaper and everybody must stand on top on the newspaper and someone (in our case, CI Terence. Haha someone responsible seh eh eh eh eh) must give instructions to jump or what to get the newspaper unfolded. Everyone fell down, hahaha.

Metropark Hotel, whoooooo! Last night in Hong Kong/Macau so the officers allowed us to party!, meaning lights out late! Lights out at 2am :) I settled my luggage within 5 minutes and this is our room... It's much bigger compared the the hotel we stayed in Hong Kong.

went over to Jacinth's, chit-chatted then took the lift down to Rebecca's room. All groups had debrief session, except for my group. So Jia Min and Rebecca left for their debrief and I fell asleep in their room. Suddenly at 11.45pm, I woke up and many people in the room already seh.

Then more people joined the game :) When comes to this game, find CI Jolene for all funny ideas, hahaha. I can only remember few dares and one truth.

CI Jolene dared to treat the bedside lamp like her baby and talk to it. Hahaha like zi high only seh!

Zheng Qian truth! We asked him who he likes in this Hong Kong trip and he's so brave. He was like "I like _____" For that, everyone respect him :)

Shi Ying dared! to kiss a guy in a room, on his cheek. At first we said mouth but in the end, discount, haha. And I don't know why somehow someone called out "Terence sir!!!!!" so yesssssss...

Syarif dared, to prank call Nishanth's room and act as someone working in the pizzahut. He sounded so real. Syarif's so adorable heehee :)

It was fun with food, the people, and game. Really love the last night of the trip, laughters and everything :) Hope there's another party like this next time :) BBQ gathering on 19 December, all target CI Terence again, hahaha!

Hong Kong Disneyland! Went there with family 4 years ago and still, no changes except for the tickets. Which means, the rides are still that boring.

We were told that the temperature was 9 degrees and below that day but I wore my Rusty jacket instead of my thick Fox jacket. Kinda regretted but oh well...

Got the tickets and meal coupons :) And also the heat pack.

Sleeping Beauty Castle

Had the Disney's Animation Youth Program where we learnt how to do some kind of animations by using paper and physics,cool :) Also, drawing of Mickey Mouse. I like my drawing :) Then the guide brought us to this small theatre for a 10 minutes 3D clip and it's like woah! We can feel effect seh like water, heat, wind and smell of some food shown in the clip. And there's a certificate for us.

Free and Easy time! :D

30 cadets, separated into 3 groups. Officers on their own. Had lunch with the girls (Jacinth, Rebecca, Jia Min, Eunice and Eileen) and the boys (Johnson, Darrell, Nishanth, Zheng Qian, Vladimir, Benjamin and Ebenezer) at Starlight :) Rebecca ordered the fish fillet burger, I ordered the teriyaki burger and we shared half half. After lunch,the girls went for shopping and the boys played roller coaster so we agreed to meet at the meeting point (Starlight cafe) after 20 minutes.

Met up,then we played Space Mountain! It's not that thrilling actually :(

After the river cruise, we had fun playing hide and seek in disneyland :) Wanted to hide in Autopia, the car ride, but there's parade going on so couldn't get to the other side. Saw Darrell's girl friend,now officially his girlfriend :)

Thought of going another way but no way to get to the other side unless we run back to Fantasyland, behind the sleeping beauty castle. But it's too far away and we were at the Main Street U.S.A. So we splitted up into 3 groups and agreed to meet at Starlight after the game ends. Saw 2 CIs so yeah,joined. Queued up for Autopia and the waiting time - 60 minutes.

Jia Min,Jacinth,Johnson,Zheng Qian and many others left for shopping so left Rebecca,Eunice,CI Kevin,CI Terence,Eileen,Vladimir and me. The ride very boring, VERY. And it's very stupid, VERY. You just need to step on the pedal because there's like a metal or what track there. Just like the name Autopia, really very automatic seh. The ride ended within 6 minutes and we waited for 60 minutes.

Space Mountain again! Nishanth came up with this idea - scream all the way and when they snapshot us,we do the -.- sian face. I think only Nishanth succeeded in doing the sian face. Haha.

Shopping shopping shopping! :) But I didn't get anything awesome except a nice Mickey T-shirt,bracelet and earrings. Really love it :) And the Disneyland Cookies. The box is cute and it looks classy so I bought it. But the cookies and chocolates inside really yummy,should've bought another one.

Crystal place, mad. The price of the crystals and glasses, very expensive. Wanted to do some engraving on the crystal/glass for mum and dad but it will take 1 hour and by the time they finish it, it's time for us to board the coach. Left the shop and went for Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters, a game like laser tag.

Disneyland Fireworks! Really crowded and we couldn't get a good spot so we watched from afar. But it's also nice from our spot :) I lost the "paper spectacle" and CI Terence was beside me so he lent me the "paper spectacle" for some part of the fireworks. The "paper spectacle" is special because .... this is hard to explain. Let it be a mystery then :)

Romantic atmosphere :) I will bring my future boyfriend there someday and we'll give each other a hug under the beautiful fireworks. I love the part when they spammed the whole sky with fireworks with 'A Whole New World' as background music. Didn't take any pictures of the fireworks because was videoing but don't intend to upload because it's going to be long.

Romantic moment over. Back to meeting point and coach,then hotel. The officers bought stockings for us again. Went over to Rebecca/Jia Min's room to get some food, chit-chat, polish shoes. Invited CI Jolene, CI Kevin and CI Terence over. Not forgetting Dawn, Shi Ying, Jacinth, Eunice, Vladimir and Zheng Qian :) On one condition, they must bring some food over! :D

Hahaha cute people :) CI Kevin with 2 boxes of meltykiss and CI Terence with a Calbee Potato thing. I combined the 3 snacks together and it taste yummy to the max!

Some of them polished their shoes/boots. But lights out time is 12am so we went back to our rooms at 11.30pm. Tired. Packed my luggage because leaving for Macau the next day :)

Attire : NPCC Full Uniform & stockings (female cadets)

Our first time wearing full uniform with stockings for the female cadets. Still cold but 10% warm seh. I cut my fingernails the night before,really heartbroken (U). I brought the nails back to Singapore but mum threw it away. Enough of the heartbreaks.

We went to the Hong Kong Police Headquarters :) Speech by a female police officer,CI Kevin and CI Terence in the Media Briefing Room. Souvenir shop,didn't get anything because I bought some souvenirs from the PTU souvenir shop and I don't want to spend money on unnecessary stuffs. We also toured around but I'm not sure what they call those places la. Okay,pictures are more practical :)

Lunch, and after lunch, 20 minutes shopping time. Instead of some proper shopping, Eileen, CI Jolene and me spent 15 minutes gossiping. Girls. Bought bubble tea, Hong Kong bubble tea seh.

I want factory outlet but they cancelled.

We lost Johnson,Nishanth,Darrell and Vladimir/Angus. Half of the group gone seh. They actually went back to the coach without telling us seh. Okay but it was funny when ___________ :) And I'm still feeling fucked up over that matter. /// Come on la,you're not even a man. You need balls because you have none. ///

Still feeling nauseous, flu still on, coughing away, fever on the way.

Berocca, 凉茶, Porridge, Nasi Lemak, Fried Rice. Count the carbohydrates & calories intake. I'm the patient so I have the say,put aside all dieting plans for one day. I look so pale now. What's making my headache worse is the thought of how long my fingernails will take to grow long again. Emo seh.

I hate the fact that I am taking after my mum when comes to eating,weight or whatever you call it. We gain weight easily but always hard to shed weight. But it's not a bad thing that I am taking after her because she's a good wife and a good mother.

And my "boyfriend" is going back to Indonesia tomorrow seh,and leave me alone seh. I am looking forward to the post trip gathering on the 19th of December. Ah yes December the 14th, I hope this year's birthday will be a special one,but it's not the case anymore.

another good long day :)

Personal Assistant for that day was Gideon/Zhi Wen. Nishanth,Darrell and Johnson POP already,haha. Darrell/Johnson : Party at Nishanth's. After breakfast at Chinese restaurant for dim sum again,we went to the Hong Kong Police Tactical Unit (PTU) 警察機動部隊 HQ located at Fanling. It's a 45 minutes ride from the restaurant. Had a short briefing by the police officers.

They are responsible for the riots control,internal security,crowd management,etc. We're also allowed to sit on their Mercedes-Benz Vario (I think it's this) and take pictures with it :)

After the Police Tactical Unit,we went to the Hong Kong Police Dog Unit :) Almost everyone slept in the bus because we were too tired. See,never sleep early haha. Credits to Facebook HongKong Macau/CI Jeremy

Short briefing,but it's not really short. Keep forcing my eyes to open. I almost need toothpicks. Short demo by the officers on how they train the dogs there.

We took their marine boat to Cheung Chau island,once a fishing village. It's still a fishing village now but also a sort of business district. We can hardly see any cars around (or there's none?) because most of the people there travel around by foot or bikes.

The female cadets allowed to go into the male toilet because,I don't know the reason why. Maybe because it's nearer? There's this guy who came in and saw many girls,he's like woah! sorry!

Walked to the JPC Marine Clubhouse. Played a game,and it was fun :)

Walked around the island,okay not the whole island. And also some "shopping there". Had our at the seafood restaurant. Many were disappointed because Cheung Chau is also famous for their seafood but the atmosphere wasn't there. After dinner,we walked around again for free-and-easy shopping. Tim from JPC treated me and CI Jolene ice-cream from Mcdonalds because he got some cards and can get discount at Mcdonalds.

Took the ferry back to Hong Kong island,Central Pier. Some of us went out to the back deck/? to enjoy the night sea breeze :) Though it's freezing,but it's a good place and time for us to relax and reflect :)

Yang Zhi lent me his blazer,his gloves and heat pack so I wore 5 layers of clothing. Yang Zhi was shivering out there and I wanted to return his blazer and gloves so we keep 'arguing' but he's smart enough to shut me up with "If you return,I'm going to ignore you for the next few days."

Everyone hyper already. Hahaha. Nishanth,Darrell and Johnson the officer's Personal Assistant because they were late for reporting attendance in the hotel lobby,morning.

Woke up,showered and set off for breakfast - dim sum :) We visited the Old Central Police Station located at the end of Hollywood Road,in Central,Hong Kong. We were splitted into 2 groups and the guide gave a brief introduction about the Old Police Station in Cantonese. Then,we walked around and .... okay pictures do all the talking :)

The reason why the pillars on the 3rd and 4th floor are different from the 2nd floor is because when they first build this building,they only have the 2nd floor then after few years or what,they build the 3rd and 4th but at that time,they don't have good quality material or what,so the foundation on the 2nd floor must be stronger than the 3rd and 4th. Okay I'm bad at explaining stuffs like that.

There's also another explanation for this building,the corridors.

The execution ground. It's really eerie when you take a walk around there. Jacinth,Eunice and Rebecca stepped on the exact ground where the execution take place many decades ago.

Outside the _______ place. I forgot what the place is called. After few years of killing the prisoners at the (10 pictures up),they decided to execute the prisoners,indoor. I didn't take any pictures of it because it's really eerie inside. Okay fffff the thought of it scares me now :/

There are 4 special units and they are for those prisoners mental disability/illness. And the guide told us that,if any female prisoners were to give birth in the prison and if the prisoners have no relatives or friends outside to take care of the baby,the baby has to live with the mother in the prison until he/she is 3 years old. The baby then will be taken to a welfare organisation and they will take care of him/her. When the child reach 18,then he/she can leave the organisation and be independent.

There's another execution ground behind the subordinate court but the feeling is not that bad. And they also have a special wall behind. It's from a natural volcano around the dino era.

we visited the Hong Kong Police College (Aberdeen) :) Where TVB filmed the Hong Kong police drama, 學警雄心. Many Hong Kongers english may not be that good but the Police Officers from the Police College are ... thumbs up :) Darrell was shocked.

So we went to their training ground with the 3 marching lines (or?) on the ground. And the 3 marching lines are really clear.

They also have the Tactics Training Complex. It's something like our Home Team Training Village. At first when I stepped into the Tactics Training Complex,I thought the police there can get to enjoy shopping and other kinds of food.

This ATM is a special kind. According to the police officer,he said this ATM,we can only deposit money but can never withdraw the money :)

Today is a happy day! Laughters everywhere :D

I will blog about the NPCC OEV HK/Macau Day 2 tomorrow :)

I'm supposed to meet Wiky,Dawn and Zheng Qian at Hougang Mall for breakfast but I overslept. Wiky called me at 8.30am and I'm like "omg I'm still sleeping seh" So showered,had breakfast then took MRT down to Choa Chu Kang to meet up with Wiky,Dawn,Zheng Qian,Darrell,Jia Min,Angus,Aaron,Rebecca,Benjamin,Ebenezer,Hidayah,Fathin and Yang Zhi. I already started laughing when I met them :D

Took bus 172 down to Home Team Academy (HTA) to return their blazers. I went for the onion rings in HTA cafe :)

Saw CI Steven. Hahaha he's still that joker!

After returning the blazers,we took bus 172 to Jurong Point and had lunch at Mcdonalds :) Aaron and others all .____. / blank expression when I was eating my french fries. Because I always squeeze the oil out from the fries by using the napkins.

NPCC Overseas Educational Visit To Hong Kong & Macau - Day 1

Checked my luggage & stuffs,called a comfort cab and reached Singapore Changi International Airport at 10.15am with mum and Jia Ying. Met Nicea,Gwenlyn,Daniel & Jia Min @ Popeyes. 11.ooam,assembled at Row 10 and checked in our luggage and got the air ticket. Played with Jia Ying and friends before departure.

Sat with CI Jolene and CI Kevin. Played Super Mario for less than 30 minutes,got really bored so switched to other entertainments. Played Bejeweled with CI Jolene :) I found out that the screens in the plane are all pressure sensor. Reached Hong Kong International Airport at 4.45pm I think :)

And his english is not very good so it sounds funny to us at first. Everybody laughed and Gideon said something... haha. Patrick always 'zi high' so it's really funny :)

Placed our luggage in the coach then dinner! 4 tables,1 for officers,the other 3 tables are for cadets. The muslim students had their meal in another restaurant. Sat with Rebecca,Jacinth,Jia Min,Eunice,Eileen,CI Terence,Aaron and Zhi Wen. The 6 girls including me,we were so hyper that night and got really crazy so we're the siao zha bors since then :) so proud of the 6 of us,haha.

The Esprit top is finally mine now! I almost scream when I found my size because it's so hard to find size XS for the top. Yesterday,I went to Guardian to get the ingredients for cookie. I always bake cookie at my friend's house and last night was the first time baking it at home. Wanna make some cookie for family & Titus. Mum,maid,aunt said it's good but I think it's like,ew. so I threw the cookie away and decided to bake it next time.

Mum's really supportive - "I'll buy you a bigger & better oven"

I think newspapers are bad influences,most of the articles. Especially the one on H1N1. Because of that,my father - "Don't go anywhere. Stay in Singapore,it's safer. H1N1 everywhere now". I will try to persuade him again tomorrow or the day after tomorrow. If he still say no,then I hope he will book the 3D2N cruise trip or the 5D sounds good. I can give up all the trips just for the cruise trip. Because I love being out at the sea (ok not kayaking please)

I'm starting work tomorrow @ Paragon,basic salary $5/hr. Told mum & dad about it and they were like "woah good!". Surprised. Because few months ago,dad said "I give you money,don't go out work la". So I'm not a spoilt brat,people. Because I can earn money and I'm going to give 50% of my pay to mum,30% to dad and 20% to myself. It's not alot but it's always the thought that counts. Sounds cliche but it works,right? (:

Beatty Graduation Ceremony (:

Attended the ceremony as student representative,under NPCC. Almost everyone was sleeping when some sir was giving a 20 minutes speech. So what's the moral of the story,sir?

After the ceremony in the hall,went down to the canteen for food because I was starving. I ate 3 buns yesterday morning and skipped yesterday's lunch/dinner & today's breakfast. The food served at the canteen was good,catered food. "After 3 years in Beatty,this is the first delicious meal" - to everyone.

Everyone can donate $1 to make a dedication. I donated $2 for dedication because the Secondary 5Ns students put up a live performance in the canteen,like a concert,whooo~ I think they skipped mine. But the money still goes to the charity so it's okay.

After lunch,up to the hall for the farewell parade for Mr.Boo. After Ms.Fauziah and Mrs.Tay left,all the uniform groups did a great job (: Because no pressure,no stress from the teachers. Mr.Boo's birthday on Thursday,the whole school will be singing happy birthday song for him (: Oh wait,is this confidential? Just give him a surprise okay (:

I passed all subjects except for Design & Technology (: Design & Technology is the easiest to score but I failed. But it's not really that important to me anyway,it will just help in my points.

Before Ms.Leow came in,I was like "okay no need to see already,I confirm get 9/50 or even lesser" but ... 25/50! Just passed but I really suck at Geography & I didn't study for this subject at all. Ms.Chen told me I did quite well for my Social Studies so combine humanities is a pass (:

Mdm.Ho told me I passed my Chinese Paper and,quite good. Another shock.

But still,report card determines everything because they still need to add in Continual Assessment & Semester Assessment.

You know what? I think I will stop my dieting plan or whatever you call it. Because I'm killing myself. Mum just showed me a newspaper article on how a girl died because of anorexia & 2 relatives of mine died of anorexia as well :(

Electronic Road Pricing System (ERPs) came out for the first few questions and - "HUH?!" So skipped first and Section B was so much much much easier :) I am not very sure about the questions but something got to do with the Catholics & Protestants conflict Northern Ireland & the conflict between Sinhalese & Tamils Sri Lanka.

Thank god the (& few days before the paper),I read the essay sample and memorised like mad. Questions on ERPs crazy la. No one studied for it. Maybe some studied but majority was like "It is only one short paragraph in our textbook". I thought of yahoo & google but I find it quite lame -.- so gave up the idea.

Love of money is the root of evil but we still need to have large wealth in order to have the money to help many people. If there are no money,one will be more of a bane to society,as one will be reliant for social help and also can't help the society as well.

And Chinese language is VERY important.
Everyone shouldn't neglect this subject.
I will be reading more Chinese books from now on :)

after 1/1/2 hours,
we took bus 61 (eunos interchange) and the journey is around 1/1/2 hours.

Bought ingredients for baking cookies + lunch @ Sun Plaza.

Saturday was soooooooooo good! (:

Cycling @ East Coast Park with Ching Wen.
I owe her $10. Though she insisted that I should not pay,I still do not want to owe her any money. So the next cycling trip will be my treat (:

Passed by Outward Bound Singapore (East Coast) and this guy in the banner looks like Shackleton instructor. Haha. Is he? (:

Cycled to Changi Airport. Okay not the airport but near there.

And because time's almost up,so we had to head back to return our bikes.

Was late for school today. Almost hail for a cab.
"Since I am going to be late,why not just take my own sweet time to take a bus and walk to school?" I told myself.
Councillor said I'm late for 3 times so I had to stay in the reflection room for 1 period -.-
Nicole was there and I keep stealing her sweets. Hahaha.

I failed my Chemistry Test because I hate studying periodic table.
I passed my Mathematics Test and I am going to score even higher for the next test (:
I passed my Chinese Test but failed my CA2.
I got highest in English for 3N2(O) but I am still not satisfied with the marks.

I think I am going to _______ (fail/pass) my End-Of-Year Examinations.

I love my class but sometimes,some of them really pissed us off.
Making unessecary noises,ignoring others existence.
Why can't they just be a little more sensitive to others & their surroundings?

I will have to cover my ears with my palms because the noise are killing my ear.
If I don't do that,I will have problems in hearing things.

Not long ago,I met up with Dian (:

We went down to our favourite spot in Singapore & toured around City again.
Bitching and gossipings are part of girls life.
After City tour,we went to Vivocity to get the beautiful necklace (:
I just remembered! I haven't get one for myself.

Missing camp days - OBS,mosquitoes love my blood (:
This proves that I am sweet. Joke once in awhile. Haha.

Chemistry Test today. I am not even prepared for it but still finished the paper. Kind of easy actually.
I passed my Elementary Mathematics Test (:
My fear was wasted.
The day when I was doing the test,I almost teared because I am afraid of failing.

Tuition today (:
Caught up with the topics Mdm.Ong had covered with the class for the whole of last week of my absence.
I must not be too complacent.

Surprisingly,I did not take cab down to school today (:
Ok,mainly because Jerome called me early in the morning.
But I still took cab home after school. Because I was too tired.
Skipped breakfast + lunch.

Maid fed me just now (:

I feel so baby.

I threw up the bird nest mummy made for me.
Dad brought me to Lei Garden again,hopefully my good appetite will be back.
